The Kendriya Vidyalayas have a four - fold mission, viz.,
-
To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government including
Defence and Para-military personnel by providing a common programme of education;
- To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education;
- To initiate and promote experimentation and innovations in education in collaboration with other bodies like the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the National Concil of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) etc. and
- To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indianness" among children.

- Cluster Level Meeting under Common Minimum Programme was held in the Vidyalaya on 09-Aug-2010
- World Population Day 2010 - Different events were organised for the students on World Population Day 2010.
- Tree Plantation in the Vidyalaya was held on 04-07-2010 in which Scouts and Guides and other students taken part under the guidence of Principal and Teachers.
- Annual Day for the session 2009-10 was celebrated in befitting manner in the Vidyalaya Premises on 28-06-2010.
- CBSE RESULT OF THE VIDYALAYA: CLASS XII - 85.7%(SCIENCE - 85.7%, COMMERCE - 85.7%) ; CLASS X - 97.4%
- SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM FOR SESSION 2009-10 WILL HELD AS PER THE TIME TABLE DISPLAYED ON EXAM NOTICE BOARD.
- CLASSES SUSPENDED FROM 16-04-2010 TO 20-06-2010 DUE TO EXTREME HOT CLIMATE.
